We are experienced in:
- designing solar power plant;
- energetic consulting;
- installing solar plants of various capacities;
- passing the procedure for obtaining “green tariff”;
- logistics and delivery of equipment;
- developing IT solutions for energy saving.
We are also going to hold workshops and provide materials for everyone interested in hot water collectors. In our opinion, it is important to teach everyone to make a cost-effectiveness analysis of solar energy application for different objects, such as a single-family home, apartment building, enterprise, kindergarten, café, etc. Our training and demonstration center is located in the city of Lutsk in Dubnivska St. 15 (second floor). We invite everyone to find out more about our functional simulators and to witness solar energy efficiency. After all, the sun does not send us accounts!
Interview with Roman Mykhalchuk, the Director of “SEtech”
Tell more about your company / project
Our company “SEtech” is engaged in the implementation of solutions in the field of renewable energy and alternative energy sources. At the end of last year, our project “DIY Construction of Solar Collectors” was supported by GIZ within the framework of the Green Economy Programme. Its purpose is to show the practical side of construction solar collectors, as well as to transfer technology through photos, videos and printed instructions for an audience as wide as possible.
Why did you decide to start this business?
I have been working in the field of renewable energy for over 10 years. I was engaged in this kind of activity during my studies in the late 90s in Germany at FH Lippe, where I had the opportunity to get acquainted with examples of renewable energy solutions and to understand much about the trends of the future.
Are there any problems in your city that you could or would like to resolve through your activity?
In our city there is a giant field for our activities both in the private sector and in the public sector. For example, we have started negotiating a project with the City Council about providing hot water for kindergartens of our city.
What are the favorable factors for your business?
There are a lot of factors. Among them are the European Green Tariffs, growth of interest in the population and state authorities, favourable financial programmes from banking institutions and rise in the price of traditional energy sources.
How do you see your company in 10 years and its influence on the city and society?
I dream to build a large public solar power plant in our city and have the opportunity to finance social and charitable projects from the proceeds.
