Solar cable – designed specifically for solar panels. It has a special double-layer insulation that helps protect copper wires from all types of environmental influences (rain, snow, ultraviolet radiation, temperature changes)

In October 2015, the new cable standard EN 50618 for solar energy entered into force. This standard has even higher requirements than the existing and established specifications TÜV 2 PFG 1169 / 08.07 (PV1-F).
According to this standard, the KBE Solar DB EN 50618 H1Z2Z2-K cable was developed and certified. The new models are developed taking into account the fact that the requirements for cables in solar energy have increased significantly in recent years.
